The most important meal in your day is breakfast! It boosts up your engine, promotes your energy level & balances your sugar level too. When your stomach is full, you are ready to start your day.
Here are some of the amazing recipes you can try and get blessings from your stomach.
Oatmeal
Thinking of a healthy breakfast and a bowl of oatmeal doesn't cross your mind; that's very unlikely!
There is so much goodness in Oats. It has high fibre, antioxidants, and a good source of carbs which are incredibly good for you.
There are so many recipes you may find on the internet. Here I am sharing the simplest one.
All you need-
- Half cup of oats
- 1 cup of water or milk
- Some slices of fruits as you prefer
- Muesli, chia seeds.
- Dry fruits
So now combine all the ingredients and add Lukewarm water or mink and if you prefer yoghurt, mix all the ingredients (without milk) in a pot. Add cinnamon powder and a pinch of salt to make your oatmeal tastier.
Egg Toast
Well, even you would agree that eggs are the most popular item for breakfast. For example, egg toasts are eaten by many across the globe and are prepared in various ways.
Another main reason behind egg's popularity is the fact that it's very nutritious! An egg is an excellent source of calcium, protein, and various nutrients and vitamins.
Here is an easy and super-quick egg recipe, which you can make in less than 10 minutes!
Ingredients you need-
- Bread
- Onion
- Tomato
- Green chilli
- Egg
Preparation - Take a bowl, add finely chopped onion, tomato, and green chilli. Add salt, turmeric powder, coriander leaves and break the egg and give it a good mix with a fork.
Now, when the pan is hot enough, put some oil, dip one side of the bread on the mixture and place it on the pan. After 2-3 minutes, pour the remaining mixture over the bread and flip the bread to cook the other side also.
And then, after a minute or two, your toast is ready!

Besan chilla
Besan chilla is a North-Indian cuisine, which is loaded with protein that gives a good filling to your stomach. Chilla is a healthy and delicious Indian pancake that is made with various kinds of flour.
Sounds interesting? This is the simplest way you can make it.
To prepare Besan Chilla you need -
- Gram flour ( Besan)
- Onion
- Green chilli
- Tomato
- Ajwain
Preparation - Veggies you need are a finely chopped and rinsed onion, green chilli, a small tomato, and also some chopped ginger. Now take a pot, add a cup of besan, salt as per your requirement,1/4 ajwain, a pinch of turmeric powder, and then add some coriander leaves and pour three fourth cups of water & mix all them up.
Now heat a pan or tawa and grease it with a few drops of oil. When it is heated enough, pour the batter into the centre with a big spoon.
Spread it in a thin layer. Flip it when you see the edges are leaving the pan. Wait for some time to get it golden brown and plate it. To get the better taste, have it with curd or achar.
Pancake
So, this food is worldwide popular as a breakfast item. It looks so delicious and tastes good too! Have you ever tried? Please try it & have it.
The ingredients -
- Whole wheat flour
- Sugar
- Salt
- Baking powder
- Cinnamon powder
- Vanilla essence
- Milk
Preparation - Take a mixing bowl and eventually add flour, a minimal amount of salt, one tablespoon of baking powder, 1/4 tablespoon of cinnamon powder, and vanilla essence. If you prefer sugar, add 2-3 tablespoons of sugar; if not, then the healthier variation is to add coconut sugar or jaggery. Then mix all the dry ingredients with a whisk.
Now on the other side, heat up one and a half cups of milk in a saucepan. When it becomes hot, add oil or unsalted butter. Mix them very well. Then pour this mixture into the dry ingredients mixture bowl and make a smooth batter.
The final part is to heat a tawa or pan and some oil or butter and gently pour the batter with a ladle. Cook the pancake on medium-low heat until bubbles come up on the surface. When the edge becomes crisp and golden brown, flip it to cook the other side also.
Stack these pancakes on a plate and drizzle some chocolate or caramel syrup or honey as per your preference.
Dosa
There are so many methods and techniques in making dosa. Making the batter may be a complicated part when you think of it! But instant dosa powder is available now. This is the easiest way to make dosa. Let's jump on to the preparation.
Take 1 cup of dosa powder in a mixing bowl, add some curd and water as required. Mix them all with a whisk and make a smooth batter without lumps.
Now heat a tawa or iron pan, and it is heated enough, brush some oil all over the pan. Take a ladle full of dosa and pour the batter, and spread it from the centre, making it round. When the edge becomes crisp and golden brown, fold it from one side and plate it. You can have this with any chutney or sambar.
